Babich Park

The City of Abbotsford is planning to construct a new playground and shelter at Babich Park. We are currently seeking feedback from local residents to help inform the design of these new amenities.

Babich Park is located at 33404 Wren Crescent in the Hazelwood neighbourhood. The park is approximately 2.73 hectares in size. Existing amenities include baseball diamond and soccer field and open space. A nature trail connects the south side of the park to McCallum Place. The new playground and shelter will be located on the south side of the park behind the baseball backstop and near the park entrance on Babich Place. These additions will complement the existing amenities of the park and provide a fun, interactive, safe, and accessible space for the community.

Every effort will be made to keep the park open during construction. The new playground and shelter are anticipated to open in early 2027.
