The City of Abbotsford is developing a comprehensive, long-term City-Wide Off-Road Trail Strategy to guide the future of its trail network and support the growing needs of our community.

This Strategy will establish a shared vision for a more connected, accessible, and sustainable system of off-road trails that enhances recreation, improves access to nature, and creates stronger connections between neighbourhoods, parks, and key destinations across the city.

The Strategy will explore opportunities to:

• Expand and enhance recreational trail experiences
• Improve accessibility for people of all ages and abilities
• Promote equitable access to trails across Abbotsford
• Strengthen connections between communities and natural areas
• Support active transportation and healthy lifestyles
• Foster environmental education, stewardship, and appreciation of local ecosystems

By planning for the future of Abbotsford's trail network, the city aims to create lasting benefits for residents and visitors alike supporting vibrant, healthy communities and an exceptional quality of life for generations to come.
