The City of Abbotsford has an extensive network of trails, including nature trails, recreational and multi-use paths that span across the city, providing recreational opportunities, connection with nature and community. With the city’s growing population and shifting demographics comes greater demand for expanded and upgraded trail infrastructure and a desire for new and different recreational activities.
The City of Abbotsford will be initiating trail planning strategies this year, and to ensure we are taking an informed and balanced approach to the planning process, we are conducting a preliminary city-wide survey to better understand which trails are most popular, how residents use the trail network and how they would like to see it improved or expanded in the future.
We Want to Hear From You!
The feedback from this survey, along with demographic research, benchmarking, and other data inputs will provide early insights into community values and priorities which will ensure community needs are reflected in the planning process.
