An Official Community Plan (OCP) amendment application has been submitted to change the land use designation for 4300 Blauson Boulevard, 4305 Blauson Road, 36415 and 36308 McKee Road, no civic Mckee Road, 4115 Sumas Mountain Road, no civic Sumas Mountain Road from McKee Village, Urban 2 Ground Oriented, Urban 4 Detached and Open Space to a new Mixed Use Innovation Centre designation to support a Mixed-Use Tech District.
We invite you to review the proposed OCP Amendment and provide your feedback below, which will be collected and used to identify key community concerns, and where appropriate, inform revisions to the proposal before it proceeds to Council for consideration.
The subject properties are located along McKee Road, just south of the Auguston neighbourhood.
The subject properties are currently designated as McKee Village, Urban 2 Ground Oriented, Urban 4 Detached and Open Space under the Official Community Plan’s McKee Neighbourhood Plan.
The applicant is proposing an OCP amendment to change the land use designation from McKee Village, Urban 2 Ground Oriented, Urban 4 Detached and Open Space to a new land use designation called Mixed Use Innovation Centre.
If the proposed OCP amendment is approved by Council, the applicant proposes to rezone the subject properties to a new zone which will align with the proposed Mixed Use Innovation Centre land use designation.
