Stage 1 Update
On July 23, 2026, the project team presented the Joint Shared Services Committee (JSSC) with an update on Stage 1 of the Joint Water Master Plan, highlighting the completion of the Background Review and Data Assessment stage. This work included reviewing historic water demands, the existing system, forecasting plausible demand scenarios, identifying key issues and opportunities and establishing the guiding principles and assumptions that will inform the next phases of the Master Plan.
The JSSC directed staff to proceed to Stage 2 – Analysis and Evaluation, where the project team will develop planning scenarios, identify infrastructure options, and identify capital upgrades to support community growth and development over the next 25 years and beyond.
