The Application Process for Cannabis Retail Stores started February 3, 2020 with a consolidated intake period. The application intake was open for 3 months (closed on May 1, 2020) and 8 applications were received during this time. Staff are now working on screening applications as per Section 10 of Council’s Cannabis Retail Store Policy. The next step is an introduction report to Council this summer with an opportunity for public input to follow.
