Council Hearing for Cannabis Retail Store Applications
The Council Hearing for Cannabis Retail Stores is now concluded.
The City of Abbotsford is gathering the views of residents on seven cannabis retail store applications under the provisions of the Cannabis Control and Licencing Act. The names and locations of the applications are listed below and detailed information about each application is available through the following links:
- 'BC Cannabis Store' at Highstreet Shopping Centre, 3122 Mt. Lehman Road
- 'Honeycomb Cannabis' at Meadow Fair Plaza, 31940 South Fraser Way
- 'Meta Cannabis Supply Co' at Clearbrook Town Square, 32500 South Fraser Way
- 'A Little Bud' at West Oaks Mall, 32700 South Fraser Way
- 'Sweed Cannabis Store' at Sevenoaks Shopping Centre, 32900 South Fraser Way
- 'This Is Cannabis' at Abbotsford Village Shopping Centre, 2070 Sumas Way
- 'Muse Cannabis Store' at Parallel Marketplace, 1920 North Parallel Road

How can I provide input to Council on the applications electronically or by mail?
Input can be submitted by the following methods:

Input must be submitted by noon on the date of the Council Hearing (July 20, 2020). Please note that all submissions are a matter of public record.
How can I provide input to Council on the applications in person?
Attend the Council Hearing on Monday, July 20 at Matsqui Centennial Auditorium, 32315 South Fraser Way. The Hearing will start following the 7 pm Public Hearing. Please note that a new format is in place to adhere to the Provincial Government’s 2 metre physical distancing and 50 person maximum gathering requirements. Attendees should follow the directional signage and sit only in designated areas. Council meetings are also available to be viewed online here.
