Consultation has concluded

The City of Abbotsford is constructing new permanent washrooms in Jubilee Park, which will replace the seasonal portables installed annually during peak park use. The new washrooms will be located on the east side of the park and north of the existing pickleball courts with accessible pathway connections. The new washrooms will complement the existing park amenities and will provide a safer, cleaner and more accessible alternative for park users year round.

The washrooms will be pre-engineered sturdy structures, designed to mitigate or deter most common problems experienced with public toilets, such as dirtiness, vandalism and improper uses. The sleek and modern design of the units discourage crime with graffiti-proof wall panels and open grating at the top and bottom and can be locked during evening hours.

Thank you to everyone for your feedback on this project! The park will remain open to the public during the construction phase and the new washrooms are anticipated to be open to the public in Spring 2024.
