The City of Abbotsford is pursuing improvements to the Old Yale Road corridor between McMillan Road and Eagle Mountain Drive. Old Yale Road is an important east-west corridor with connections to Eagle Mountain, Lower Sumas Mountain, and Whatcom areas. In addition, Old Yale Road has been identified in the City's 2018 Master Transportation and Transit Plan for improvements to the pedestrian and cycling networks.
The corridor improvements will provide the following key benefits to the community:
A multi-use pathway between McMillan Road and Eagle Mountain Drive providing connectivity for pedestrians and cyclists
Actuated pedestrian crosswalk providing crossing opportunity at Eagle Mountain Drive
Improved westbound bus stop and transit amenities at St.Moritz Way
We want to hear about your experiences along the Old Yale Road corridor. Please share your ideas and comments on the concept drawings.
