The purpose of the Drainage Master Plan is to identify the infrastructure upgrades needed to meet the expected demands for a population of 250,000 over the next 25 years, as well as land use changes as outlined in the updated OCP. The Plan will guide the City’s long-term drainage capital program which prioritizes required infrastructure upgrades, including associated costs and timing. It will also review the adequacy of the existing stormwater management policy, criteria, and bylaws to ensure they continue to meet the growing needs of the community.
