The Vicarro Booster Pump Station will be a new masonary block building located next to the Vicarro Detention Facility, to the immediate south of the intersection of Wells Gray Avenue and McKinley Drive. The Booster Pump Station will improve the supply of water to fill the City's Empress Reservoir. The Vicarro Detention Facility and Booster Pump Station are planned to be delivered as one project, with construction scheduled to start in summer 2021 and be completed in 2022.
