Next Steps
Council is anticipated to consider 3rd reading of the OCP and Zoning Bylaw amendments on December 9, 2025. If 3rd reading is granted, Council will consider final adoption at a subsequent meeting to complete the OCP Update process.
November 25, 2025 - Public Hearing
A Public Hearing was held on November 25, 2025, providing the final opportunity for the community to comment on the proposed Abbotsforward 2050 OCP (Bylaw 3690-2025) & Zoning Bylaw (Bylaws 3691-2025 & 3692-2025) changes before Council considers adoption.

October 21, 2025 - OCP & Zoning Amendment Bylaws receive 1st & 2nd reading
Council granted 1st and 2nd reading to the OCP and Zoning Bylaw amendment bylaws on October 21st, directing staff to distribute formal referrals and hold a public hearing. Watch the October 21, 2025 Council Meeting (see Agenda Item 7.4)
