Explore the New Directions Report to read about Stage 2 community engagement findings and the 15 New Directions that will guide the preparation and testing of more detailed draft OCP policies in Stage 3.

Once ready, further community engagement will be held to share the draft changes for feedback (mid-2025 target). Stay tuned for more information.

Join us at various locations throughout May to learn about the Abbotsforward 2050 project, share your perspective, and provide feedback on early ideas for improving our Official Community Plan.

If you can't make it to one of the events, an online survey will run on this page from May 11 to June 7, 2024.

We will also be sharing information on the City's proposed approach to meet the June 30, 2024 housing legislation requirements.

• Saturday, May 25, 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm – Open Space Gallery at 33765 Essendene Ave
• Friday, May 31, 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm – Highstreet Mall, main plaza near Cineplex Cinemas

Feedback received throughout May will be used to inform high-level 'New Directions' for improving the OCP, and to draft new and updated policies for further community feedback.
