It would be lovely to provide 2 new performing venues in Abbotsford.

a) Open-air Amphitheatre in Mill Lake Park. b) 1000 seat Auditorium that could be used for dance, drama, music, etc.

Walking Tours of Historic Downtown Abbotsford & Clayburn Village

So many cities do walking tours. Abbotsford could encourage people to walk, discover and create memories by curating walking tours of certain areas like the Montrose/Essendene core and the unique Clayburn conservation area. The museum collection at Clayburn Schoolhouse could be opened in the day of the walking tour, giving the participants (and other interested locals) another opportunity to view the collection.

Culture is the historical evolution of a group of people based on environmental, social, spiritual and economic adaptations.

How people survived in their surroundings; the food they could afford; the clothing they made based on what was available and acceptable; the way they looked based on the norms of their peer groups; the homes they could afford or build based on income or lack of income. Their spiritual beliefs taught from generation to generation. The celebrations created by all of those things throughout their unique history.
